Fryapalooza: Fry your way to $1000

With a lot of state fairs being cancelled this year we are missing our fried favorites from funnel cakes and fried dough, to the crazy conceptions of fried butter and fried alcohol. Pitco would like to give cooks and chefs from all over the chance to enter into our own fried fair food competition, we’ve dubbed it Fryapalooza for their shot at winning a grand prize of $1,000!

The Basics:

• Competition lasts from August 1, 2020 through September 7, 2020
• Film a video of how you make your recipe and fry it
• Recipe can include any ingredients you can dream to fry – no limitations
• Submit your video entry at www.pitco.com/fryapalooza
• Post your video on social media by tagging Pitco and using #fryapalooza

The Prizes:

• Five weekly winners will be selected by Pitco and will receive $100 (one per week)
• One grand prize blue ribbon winner will be selected by Pitco to receive $1,000
• $150 will be awarded for people’s choice award – the submission with the most social reactions across all platforms using #fryapalooza wins

The Fine Print:

• Submissions must be made through the Pitco website at www.pitco.com/fryapalooza to be considered for either the grand prize or people’s choice
• Submissions must be made between August 1, 2020 and September 7, 2020
• All social posts must use #fryapalooza and tag the Pitco social account on each given platform
• The weekly and grand prize video will be judged on the following criteria:
  • Creativity
  • Video content
  • Food presentation
  • Must be edible
  • Can be cooked in a restaurant kitchen, home kitchen, over a fire, anywhere you can safely fry up your recipes
